Artic Wolf at the Lobo Park near Amtequerra
Firstly an apology... a combination of no less than 8 articles for magazines (we are now regular contributors to the Local Connections magazine - see the links page for details), 17 competition entries and a host of other little tasks, has taken me away from my promised monthly update of this site... hopefully it will have been worth the wait!!. The site now has a couple of new galleries to view and more than 50 new images. These include a variety of images covering Semana Santa (Holy Week) which has to be one of the most spectacular events of the religious calendar - local interest in these images alone contributed to the delay in actually getting them online !!. In addition there are images of the Lunes de Quiasimodo festival, peculiar to this area, and a mix of town picnic and pilgramage. Also some more architectural images are now to be viewed in their very own gallery, together with images capturing the fleeting greens of Spring in this part of Andalucia and some interesting nature shots.
